another list of some impact |
I was in my office and the tunes were just wailing away on the i-pod and it struck me like the perverbial smack on side of the head.A song comes on, The Byrds doing Hickory Wind and how instantly recogniseable Rodger McQuinn is.So this is a little list and I know there will be many others and do join in
Jimi Hendrix,Jerry Garcia,Alvin Lee,Bo Didley,Chuck Berry, Pete Townsend,Jorma,Dickey Betts,John Cippolina,Carlos Santana,David Gilmore and Robin Trower (when he was a Les Paul player)
Noteble Mentions-Dave Mason,Steve Winwood,Mark Knofler,Peter Framton,Robbie Robertson,Mike Bloomfield.
Could Clapton make the list of course but I figured he learned evrything from Buddy Guy and B.B and Robert Johnson that the blues would be it's own list. Originality counts here.
